Tomato soup

2. Fry these together until the onion begins to soften

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion
  • 100 grams bacon
  • 1 tin of tomatoes
  • approx. 2 dl water
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4-6 tbsp single cream

  • A windproof trekking stove (stormkjøkken)

How to do it

  1. Chop the onion and bacon
  2. Fry these together until the onion begins to soften
  3. Add the tomato, water and stock, and bring to the boil
  4. Add the sugar and cream just before serving
