Wellington boot
Waterproof, tall boots — ideal for wet terrain such as bog and stream beds. Poor support and poor breathability make them less suited to a long hike.
Wellington boots are completely waterproof, tall boots that usually reach mid-calf or higher. They are ideal for trips in especially wet terrain — such as a trip into the bog for cloudberry. Wellington boots generally give poor support in the ankles. They are clammier than other walking boots because they breathe poorly.
