Inflatable sleeping mat
A light, packable sleeping mat inflated with a pump or pump bag. Insulated versions are the warmest — but also the most expensive, and they can puncture.
Inflatable mats are filled with air — either with an integrated pump or with a pump bag. They come in a range of different versions, with and without insulation. Insulated versions are the warmest sleeping mats you can find, but also the most expensive.
The drawback with all versions of air-filled mats is that they can puncture. You should therefore always keep a foam mat in reserve. The advantage is better sleeping comfort and good insulating properties.
