Ingredients
- 1 kg berries
- 250-500 g sugar

How to do it
- Pick berries.
- Clean and rinse the berries and put them in a pan.
- For firm berries such as lingonberries, add a little water.
- Bring the berries to a quick boil without sugar. Keep the lid on.
- Boil the berries until they are heated through and soft.
- Add the sugar and stir until it has dissolved.
- Bring the whole thing to the boil.
- Skim off the foam and pour the jam into clean, warm jars.
- Fill the jars right up, put the lids on and turn the jars upside down until they have cooled.
The jam can be kept in a cold cellar or similar.
Pick berries, ideally different sorts, into a plastic bag. Add sugar and squeeze the bag gently until it turns into jam.
