Limestone
Limestone comes from the shells of marine organisms, which can be mussels, plankton and corals that over time harden into limestone.

Limestone comes from the shells of marine organisms, which can be mussels, plankton and corals that over time harden into limestone. The colour is most often white, but can be coloured by iron so that it has turned brown. The rock is so soft that it can be scratched with a knife.
