- Bring along plenty of different clothes and equipment for the pupils (or have the pupils bring some). Divide the pupils into groups and let them choose equipment by discussing their way to what they want to bring on the trip. Here you can add several different conditions:
- The equipment should be as cheap as possible.
- They should manage with as little equipment as possible.
- A day trip or a trip with overnight camping.
- Use only “ordinary” clothes and not outdoor clothing.
- Choose what is most sustainable.
- Discuss how the aim of the trip helps to influence what we pack.
- How can we think sustainably when we pack for a trip?
