  • understand the importance of a suitable diet on trips and explore the possibilities nature offers us as a source of food
  • understand common weather signs and warnings that nature gives, and take account of these
  • use equipment and tools in a sustainable way,
  • apply first aid and life-saving skills in connection with the friluftsliv the pupil practises
  • practise and reflect on sustainable travel in nature
  • plan, carry out and assess activities and trips as a guide for a group
  • carry out and assess friluftsliv trips where a sense of mastery, nature experiences and community are central
  • assess possible health benefits of friluftsliv Relevance to the subject / making it concrete: • make a trip plan and carry out a ferdaråd before the trip • plan and gain experience with the right clothing • use the map actively on the trip • assess possibilities and limitations based on the group’s skills • collaborate and help one another so that everyone has a good trip • gain knowledge of and know what the most common injuries on a trip are • discuss experiences of being outdoors, what is sensible to do/not to do and what is sensible to bring/not to bring on a trip • learn about and experience energy use and food needs during high activity • practise cooking food on a stormkjøkken (camping stove) • practise making a campfire • gather firewood for the campfire
