- plan, carry out and assess trips with several overnight stays in different natural environments and across the different seasons
- understand the importance of a suitable diet on trips and explore the possibilities nature gives us as a food source
- use equipment and tools in a sustainable way,
- apply first aid and life-saving skills in connection with the friluftsliv the pupil practises
- practise and reflect on sustainable travel in nature
- plan, carry out and assess activities and trips as a guide for a group
- carry out and assess friluftsliv trips where the sense of mastery, experiences of nature and community are central
- reflect on how new outdoor activities are helping to change traditional friluftsliv

- climb and belay one another • handle and look after climbing equipment • set up and establish a fixed camp (basecamp) • cook food in groups • practise cooking on a camp stove • practise making a campfire • gather firewood for the campfire
